Settling In

Things are going well at our new apartment. Just a short 10 minute walk to work, we’ve got nearly everything moved over, and my office is set up! Still working on sound treatment which is a lot harder now given that I don’t have a bed in the same room as my recording equipment, but I did get a blanket hung on the wall which has a noticeable impact.

There was tragically a casualty of the move. My bike’s rear tire popped. Ugh. I do not have the money to deal with this right now :) Sure it’s not expensive to replace but that doesn’t mean I have the money for it :)

I was able to get back to recording recently as well! I have finished Heavensward patch 3.3 and will be moving on to recording patch 3.4 tomorrow. I also have the first chapter of LP #19 recorded and just about ready to go as well.

Unfortunately with how busy it’s all been, my writing has slowed down tremendously. Trying to get back to it, but my priority at the moment is setting into the new place.

I did change how I handle my bullet journal (which, btw, I have found to be a VERY useful tool! Been using bullet journals for years!). I have gone full digital with it, using Obsidian as my editor. I was on Joplin before but Obsidian is more open and has some neat features, including apparently Kanban soon? Which is exciting for me? I’m also loving Obsidian’s templates, makes it all very flexible and modular.

Next week we reach October. The weather is finally cooling down. I’ve got some fun things I’m working on in my personal life. We’ll see how it all goes.
