Monthly Update - August 2025

Hey all! Welcome to my monthly update covering my Let's Plays and other projects, cross-posted to my personal blog and to my Patreon. Read on to see what I've been up to!

Let's Plays

First up is the progress on my Let's Plays which are posted to YouTube and Patreon.

Chained Echoes

As of this writing, I have recorded the entirely of act 3 and begun act 4 of Chained Echoes! As with the break between act 2 and 3, there will be a 1 week break between acts 3 and 4. Act 4 is going to be divided into two parts, with the DLC "Ashes of Elrant" taking place in the middle of it. I have not yet touched Ashes of Elrant so I am very excited to finally get to it.

Final Fantasy XIV

The LP returns from break today as we begin the final third of Heavensward's base story! And for the first time since the very, very beginning of A Realm Reborn, I lost main story footage and had to rerecord as best I could... I think I made it work well enough though!

As of this writing, I have finished all of the level 58 combat job quests, am about to start the level 58 crafting and gathering quests, and the main story is getting ready to take us to the fifth zone of the expansion. But of course that's all available early access for Patreon supporters!

Game Development

I am moving the game development section to its own weekly dev log! I'm aiming to publish it on Sundays, so keep an eye out for those!
